Music

My roommate Justin Floyd is in a band called Pleasant Tree and they had a show on November 14th at Studio 600. They opened for a band called Sherwood that comes from California. Anyway, knowing that my buddy Rich Dunn likes music, I called him up to see if he wanted to go to the show with me. I told him what night they would be playing and he asked me- "They're not opening for Sherwood are they? My band is opening for Sherwood". Rich is in a group called Taylor Howe Music who also happened to be opening for Sherwood on that same night. Crazy! I went to the show and had a great time. I was impressed with all the bands.

The K-hole

"Everybody needs some time away, just stuck in the K-hole again"
So I was sitting there reminiscing about the hours and days and weeks spent sitting in the K-hole as a teenager. At any given time, any day of the week, any hour of the day, you could find friends at the k-hole. I don't even remember what we used to do there but we were ALWAYS there. It was the one place where all the groups of friends would merge into one. MTV, sports, videos games(Tony Hawk on the PlayStation), music, this is what I remember.
And then it occurred to me. I'm still stuck in the K-hole. Not much has changed.

My New Place

I moved into my new place on October 31 (Halloween). It's located on Main Street in Kaysville just south of Tasty's. It's an old two-bedroom house that I think was probably built sometime in the 1800's. It's a cool little house and pretty nice for the price. Also, I have an awesome new roommate named Justin Floyd. So far we get along and I think it's going to be a good fit. You never realize how much stuff you have until you try to move it! So, for now, my room is filled with boxes that I haven't quite found the motivation to unpack yet. One day it will happen. Without a doubt, the worst thing about my new place is the fact that we don't have any TV channels or internet. I'm not sure if my new roomy wants to get the internet but considering the fact that I am currently enrolled in four online classes at Weber State, its only a matter of time before I will need it. In addition, I'm not sure I can get by without ESPN or TBS. I need TBS because they definitely play the most reruns of The Office! Overall, I'm pleasantly satisfied with my new place.
